Portfolio / Work That Gets Done

The business question · Copilot as a plain-language engine for Microsoft 365

“Can we get more from the Copilot licences we already pay for?”

The concept

Copilot proposes, the platform verifies

Plain-language Microsoft 365 work is drafted by Copilot and checked before it counts.

How it works
Copilot turns a plain-language request into a proposed action, the platform checks it, and only the checked action is carried out.
Why it matters
More value from licences you already pay for, with a control step that keeps the work auditable.
The result
Microsoft 365 work is requested in plain language, and a verification step keeps it auditable.

The business problem

Every Microsoft 365 task was turning into a development ticket.

Most teams connect AI to Microsoft 365 by writing code for every single action. Coding each document, site and mail action would turn every new request into a development ticket, while the Copilot licence already paid for sat underused.

Why this concept

Let Copilot propose in plain language, have the platform verify, and let the standard interface carry out only what was checked

Copilot already understands Microsoft 365; the risk is trusting it blindly. Verification turns a clever shortcut into a controlled one.

Also considered

  • Code every action against the Microsoft programming interface

What we put in place

  • Tested Copilot's plain-language ability across the Microsoft 365 apps and found most of them accepted it.
  • Built the flow: Copilot proposes, the platform verifies, the standard interface executes.
  • Made it a rule that nothing Copilot says is written anywhere until it is independently verified.
  • Kept the prompts in an editable SharePoint list, so they can be tuned without code.

The result

Before

Every Microsoft 365 task was turning into a development ticket.

After

Microsoft 365 work is requested in plain language, and a verification step keeps it auditable.

I look for value in what a company already owns before buying or building anything new.

In your organization

More return on existing Copilot licences, with controls an auditor accepts.
