Portfolio / Work That Gets Done

The business question · The digital factory

“Is this producing real work, or just answers?”

The concept

The digital factory

A brain plans, an executor acts and a Microsoft 365 specialist delivers, and each part can be replaced.

How it works
Work is split into roles that meet at written contracts: one part plans, one carries the work out, and one delivers in Microsoft 365.
Why it matters
The AI produces finished work, and any part can be replaced as the market moves without starting over.
The result
Requests typed in Teams come back as finished work in the same chat, and the parts underneath can change without retraining anyone.

The business problem

Plenty of AI activity, very little finished work.

Many AI pilots are one clever chatbot that never changes how work actually gets done. The platform began as a large fleet of agents with no single point of control. It produced activity, not reliable outcomes.

Why this concept

A brain that plans, an executor that acts and a Microsoft 365 specialist, meeting at written contracts

Separating thinking from doing keeps each part replaceable: if the brain changes, the executor still does the work unchanged.

Also considered

  • Keep a flat fleet of agents
  • One all-purpose agent that does everything

What we put in place

  • Made Hermes the brain: it plans, remembers, governs and delegates.
  • Made OpenClaw the executor that carries out work through approved tools.
  • Added a dedicated Microsoft 365 agent as a peer specialist for documents, sites, mail and Teams.
  • Connected them with written agent-to-agent contracts on an open standard.

The result

Before

Plenty of AI activity, very little finished work.

After

Requests typed in Teams come back as finished work in the same chat, and the parts underneath can change without retraining anyone.

I design operating models that outlast any single vendor.

In your organization

An AI architecture you can evolve without starting over.
